LC November Ceremonies!

     Littlestar padded out of the leaders den, it was strange to be so far from the rest of the cat's in the clan when he slept. He shook out his pelt noticing most of the clan seemed to be there as far as he could see. 'Time to name the new warriors' he thought to himself, and bounded down and up to the fern stone "May all warriors old enough to catch their own prey come beneath the fen stone for a clan meeting." he called to the clan below him. All the cats filled in to the meeting spot and looked up to their leader. "Strikepaw, Gustpaw please come forward!" Littlestar watched as the two cats padded to the front of the crowd, He looked to Strikepaw first, then continued. 

    "I, Littlestar, leader of LightningClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Strikepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Littlefoot asked gazing at the yellow tom.

    "I do." he replied looking back to Littlestar with determination.

    "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Strikepaw, from this moment you will be known as Striketail. StarClan honors your courage, and kindness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of LightningClan." Littlestar bounded from the fern stone and rested his muzzle on Striketail's head as the new warrior licked his shoulder.

The clan burst out with cheers of the new warriors name "Congratulations! " Littlestar said then dismissed the clan meeting so that Striketail could be congratulated by his friends.
